The winery had been closed for five years. In 2025, Miquel Juan, the original driving force, decided to revive the project, and so as not to do it alone, he brought in reinforcements: Rubén and Miguel joined as partners in this new chapter.
Miquel built the winery from scratch: he rebuilt the building, promoted wine tourism, opened up export channels and left his mark on Castellón's viticulture with wines such as Barranc dels Cirers, Divina Comedia, and especially Terres Calisses and Terres Calisses de Gran Selecció. As a winery in Castellón, Barranc dels Cirers has always sought to showcase the wines and winemaking identity of the province, while also demonstrating the quality and tradition of the wines of Benlloc and its surrounding area.
In this new chapter, we have refreshed the brand and created two new wines: Cirer Solell (White) and Cirer Obaga (Red). Next year, we are planning to release a pét-nat (ancestral method sparkling wine) and a new edition of Terres Calisses. The winery will reopen its doors to visitors before the end of the year with newly refurbished facilities, and soon you will be able to book online through this website and also buy our products.
